I'm very excited to tell you about a new group that I've joined up with, The Inspired Plate. Our monthly photo challenges are all food-based, and it's going to be a very exciting journey. They've been going all year, but I was recently approached by Laurie from Dalla Mia Cucina and asked if I'd like to join the group. I was very excited for the opportunity, and jumped aboard. I had no idea what an amazing lineup of photographers were tucked away in this group. So, you'll want to browse their blogs and get to know these ladies, and of course drool pour over their food photos and recipes.
I decided to share two photos with you today.
You might recognize this Cherry Pie, the recipe can be found here.
You may even recognize this salad. The great thing about this one is that I didn't have to make it.
Thank you, Olive Garden.
Thank you, Olive Garden.
Follow this link to Kay Pickens, food photographer in Columbia, MO, and then through the rest of the group. I don't want you to get too hungry looking at all these photos, so grab your pumpkin muffin, or pumpkin coffee (I know that's what you've got) and cozy in for an inspiring texture trip today.

Ooh, that pie looks awesome! Love the subtle use of texture on top of the textures already in the image-it really works.
ReplyDeleteBoth look great, but the Pie really POPS! It think it's your great choice in colour. Using a muted and neutral background really brings out the colours of the pie and the ice cream. Great job
ReplyDeleteLove these both! That pie looks SO delish!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your bright colors. Your cherry pie is divine...and a perfect ice cream scoop on top. Nice job!
