I'm a bit late on week 8, but hey, I'm here at last!
These shoes were a happy little accident. It was the day of my sister's bridal shower, and I was wearing some great heels. I thought we were going to enjoy the shower, chat a while, and afterwards spend some time at Starbucks talking all things wedding.
No. After the shower, it was time to shop til' you drop - all things wedding, of course! I wasn't prepared at all. I don't wear heels often, I'm a flats kind of girl, so it didn't even dawn on me that I might want to bring an extra pair of shoes. I live more than an hour from where we had the shower, so going home to grab a pair was out of the question.
So, I walked on. I hung in there about four hours, until we got to the mall. As soon as we walked in and I saw those big hallways, and learned our destination was on the other side of this beast,
I knew I had to do something.
I didn't want to spend much money on shoes I didn't really need, or something I had to buy on a whim. So, I ducked into the first Payless I saw, and spotted these cuties right away.
So, how much are they? Seven dollars, I'll take them!
I walked out of the store, and slipped these babies on right there in the hallway. It felt like I was walking on cotton clouds after that. It turns out, I actually really like them!

Can't beat seven dollar cotton clouds especially when they're that cute (and your feet are going to fall off)! like them too!
ReplyDeleteLol here we go again. That's I* like them too!
