Well, this is a new challenge for me, and so far I am thoroughly enjoying it. I'm coming in a little late on this challenge, so I'll take the opportunity to tell you a little about myself, and I look forward to getting to know all of you as well!
I live in Missouri with my husband, and our dog. We've been married for almost 9 years, and we have not yet decided if we'll have children. My husband works full time, and he is also a full time student, he stays pretty busy! I'm a stay at home wife, and I have a lot of time on my hands, even though it inevitably gets filled up with errands, and plenty of doings for others.
So, that's just a little about me and my little life in this big world. I didn't have a whole lot of time to prepare since I joined the group just a couple days ago, and even though I woke up sick today, I tried to get you a glimpse into a typical day around here.
1:00p.m. - time I woke up. Seriously, I know that is terrible. But, I was awake until 4a.m. and I'm sick!
That makes it okay, right??
That makes it okay, right??
First thing I do is get in the shower, and the whole time I'm hoping I feel much better afterward, but it didn't really make anything better..just wanted to get back in bed.
I head to the Keurig, and brew some peppermint tea, maybe this will do the trick. I have to say, it's one of my favorite teas, it really hit the spot, and felt wonderful on my sore throat!
Even with only the two of us, laundry can pile up pretty quickly, so I try to do laundry every day.
This is Cooper, enjoying a treat. I love the way he holds onto it.
My sweetie brought me some Panera for lunch - it was more like early dinner since it was 3pm, remember I woke up at 1pm! o_O It was yummy, but I couldn't eat much.
This is my newest thrift store find, and I haven't really showed it to anyone, so I wanted to show it off here! It even rocks and swivels, I just love it.
Between little catnaps, and breaking a fever, I listened to some music by Rosie Thomas, she has a great, soothing, calm, voice. Very peaceful.
Next thing I know, it's time to start getting ready for bed; this is my nightly routine. Sometimes I wonder if any of that stuff is doing any good, but at least I can say I try, right?
Time for a few rounds of Words with Friends before I turn my lamp out.
Please be sure to visit Karol Quinn, I know she'll have some great images for you!

Sarah, I love your soft processing!
ReplyDeleteI'm about to go post and ask you about it on our FB page. ;)
Great job -- and amazing chair pic! :)
Beautiful soft tones, I especially like the lunch pictured :)
ReplyDeleteGreat chair! You make it look so inviting. I really like your PP.
ReplyDeleteOh, that chair is to die for! Love the lighting in your photos. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are sick! :( I'm kind of in love with that pillow in your new chair. And I am obsessed with purity products!!
ReplyDeleteLove the chair and pillow. So pretty! My favorite is you coffee shot. Now I want a Keurig! Sorry you've been sick. It's hit us hard, too. I considered doing a sick day 10 on 10 but couldn't get out of bed to do anything! So glad you've joined our group :)
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better - beautiful processing! and oh my gosh - that chair and pillow are just gorgeous!
