52 Fridays: 2/52 - Sparkle.

Last week was so fun, clicking away through the blog circle and discovering each one of you through your self portrait. I know this is going to be a great year, and I expect that my skills will have greatly improved by the end of it. It's great to have that accountability, and team pushing you to think outside your normal comfort zones.

Take this week, for example. Sparkle. I don't think I would have ventured out on my own doing to try and capture a sparkle.

I've always been a fan of night photography. I don't know why. I prefer night; I feel like I am like the night. Not in the sense that it's dark and gloomy, because it's quite the opposite. It's mysterious. Yet, if you discover it, you may just find a sparkle.

One of the things I have always loved is how headlights twinkle in the night.

To see even more sparkles and to discover the work of some very talented ladies; continue onto Renee's blog!

  1. Another mystery photo- is it a pair of fallen stars or an oncoming car? I love it!

  2. Cute! I love night photography also but camera doesn't always want to participate. But maybe it is the operator!

  3. These are the headlights of my husband's car. You can kind of see the license plate in the second one. I had to take the UV filter off my lense to get the starburst. It had rained earlier in the evening, but it made for a shiny street, so I was happy for that!
